RUNNING in LONDON ONTARIO and Keeping Social Distance

If you are outside this morning in London Ontario, you will see runners enjoying this cool training weather.

Keeping space while running remains a priority while Ontario loosens restrictions.

In London Ontario, it’s easy to get some great workouts in with physical distancing!

Here are some ideas:

1. Fartlek workout at Gibbons Park. While you are there, be sure to look up for the birds nesting in the area...and the people with binoculars walking around!

2. Pace Perfect Workout! Pick a loop that is between 1-2 miles. Run the first loop and note your time. Then run another 3-5 loops keeping track of your splits, but don’t look at your watch to try to keep pace! Are you able to run the same splits without looking at your watch?

3. Tabata workout! If you are running with a friend, find a green space and line up on opposing sides of the field. Run hard for 20 seconds and rest for 10. Repeat a set of 8 on either flat or inclined terrain.

#staysafe and have fun out there!
