The pelvic floor is a sling of muscles that spans the bottom of the pelvis. These muscles support the bladder, uterus and bowel. Much like other muscle groups in the body, we want the pelvic floor muscles to be strong, flexible and coordinated.

Intramuscular Stimulation is a needling technique that helps to reduce adverse tone in tight muscle bands or trigger points. By targeting localized areas of tightness with the needle insertion, a reflex relaxation is produced in the muscle.
